Does JunPOS support iPad?+
Yes. JunPOS is a native iPad POS App for restaurant ordering, one-time beauty services, and basic retail and pet supply checkout. Follow the download link to the App Store. See App Store compatibility information for supported devices and iPadOS versions.
Can beauty salons, retail shops and pet supply stores use it too?+
Yes, start with basic item-based checkout. Drinks, baked goods, one-time beauty services, lifestyle goods and pet supplies can all use categories, discounts, payments, receipts and daily closing. The six website scenarios are demos; some App screens still use restaurant terminology. Specialized needs such as bakery recipes, clothing size matrices, pet medical or boarding records, and beauty staff appointments or treatment packages are outside the scope of these demos.
What can beauty businesses do? Can I book stylists or manage treatment packages?+
Hair, nail, lash and beauty studios can create items for one-time services and care products, then use discounts, payments, order lookup and daily closing. Some App screens still use restaurant terms. Staff appointments, commissions, treatment-package tracking and member stored value are not currently provided. Existing reservations and waitlists are based on restaurant seating capacity.
Which languages are supported? Can stores outside Taiwan use JunPOS?+
Electronic invoicing and delivery platform integrations are currently supported only in Taiwan. The website, App and QR ordering support Traditional Chinese, English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese and Thai. The App initially follows the device language, defaults to English when none is supported, and remembers your manual choice. The support form follows the current App language. Website links can specify a language. Availability depends on the installed version. Language does not change App payment currency or tax rules. Website display currency is selected separately. Local payment, tax and invoice integrations outside Taiwan have not been added; check suitability for your store before use.
Can I keep using the Free Plan? Where is data stored?+
The Free Plan is not a time-limited trial. Core POS data stays on the current device. Setup uploads business and contact details for customer registration, but does not create a cloud operations database. Local data may not be recoverable after App deletion, device replacement or loss. Choose a paid plan in the App for cloud storage and multiple devices.
Can I still take payments with an unstable connection?+
Core item operations and cash checkout can run locally; the Paid Plan syncs to the cloud when reconnected. Electronic payments, e-invoices, device sync and other cloud integrations still need internet. Offline paid-plan access is also limited by the most recently verified entitlement expiry.
Is e-invoicing included in paid plans?+
Electronic invoicing is currently supported only in Taiwan. Taiwan e-invoicing is a separate add-on at NT$ 3,600 per store per year. It requires an active paid POS plan and separate purchase and renewal. Provider issuance fees are extra. New module purchases are not yet open; availability follows App and store announcements. Existing customers retain access for the period promised in their original agreement.
Does the Headquarters Plan cover all branch fees?+
The Headquarters Plan includes one headquarters store. Other branches subscribe separately and keep independent accounts and databases. After a branch agrees to link, headquarters can view authorized revenue summaries and provide standard items, without receiving branch customer personal data or individual transaction details.
Can I use my existing printer?+
JunPOS supports multiple 58 mm / 80 mm printer routes with automatic, delayed and manual printing. Compatibility depends on the model and connection method, so test your store's equipment first. Hardware and third-party service fees are not included in software plans.
