Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JunPOS handles data about business users, staff, customers and other service users, and how you can manage or delete your data.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

1. Scope and responsible entity

This policy applies to the JunPOS official website, App, accounts, App Store subscriptions, cloud POS, customer ordering, reservations, waitlists and related support services provided by JUN HAI TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (“we”, “us” or “our”).

When a business uses JunPOS to manage staff, member, reservation or customer data, that business determines the purposes of collection and how the data is used. We process the data under the business's lawful instructions to the extent necessary to provide JunPOS services. If you are a business's employee or customer, please first direct requests about data collected by that business to the business itself.

This policy does not apply to websites and services independently provided by Apple, payment institutions, e-invoice providers, delivery platforms or other third parties. See each third party's privacy policy for its data practices.

2. Data sources and collection

We store your language choice and website display currency in your browser for future visits. Your language choice also applies to public ordering pages. You can change these preferences or clear site data at any time. These preferences contain no orders or personal contact details.

We may obtain data through:

  • Information you or the business provide:For example, setting up the business and staff, creating menus and orders, entering invoice or contact details, and requesting support.
  • Data generated by the App and services:For example, installation identifiers, App versions, sign-in sessions, request times, IP addresses, security audits and error events.
  • Third-party services:For example, identifiers, names or email addresses returned by Sign in with Apple, and product, transaction and subscription verification results from the App Store.
  • Integrations enabled by the business:For example, transaction and fulfillment data returned by payment, e-invoice, LINE, delivery, online ordering or reservation services.

Website analytics:The JunPOS homepage uses Google Analytics 4. Cookies and browser technical information help measure visits, traffic sources and clicks leading to the App Store to improve website content and usability. Data may include browser identifiers, device and browser types, approximate region, visit times and interaction events. Button clicks do not indicate an App installation or purchase. We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, orders or contract data in analytics events, load this tracking on administration or store operations pages, or enable Google signals or advertising personalization. For Google's handling of website analytics data, see its information about partner sites. You can manage related access through your browser's cookie and tracking protection settings.

Contact name and phone number are required; email is optional. The platform records the latest login or App opening time when synchronized. When you use the support form, the business name, contact details, subject and message you provide, together with the language, source and abuse-prevention records, are stored on the JunPOS platform. Authorized support staff can review and handle the request and contact you using the details provided. Opening the form does not automatically include your login credentials or store transaction data. Do not enter passwords, full credit card details or personal information unrelated to the issue.

3. Data we process

  • Account and identity data:Apple user identifiers, names or email addresses Apple provides according to your choices, display names, account status and sign-in sessions.
  • Business and staff data:Business and branch names, business settings, staff names or codes, roles, permissions and activity records.
  • Operational and transaction data:Menus, tables, orders, items, discounts, payment methods and amounts, refunds, shifts, invoices, printing, and inventory or fulfillment status.
  • Business customer data:Customer names, phone numbers, membership, reservations, waitlists, orders, invoice carrier or invoice requirements, and necessary contact information processed when a business chooses to use those features.
  • Device and technical data:Device names, installation identifiers, App versions, device authorization status, IP addresses, request times, security audits and service error information.
  • Subscription data:App Store product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, purchase and expiry times, and verification results provided by Apple.
  • Support data:Issue descriptions, contact details and handling records you provide voluntarily.

We do not receive your Apple account password or request or store full credit card numbers or security codes. Payment credentials are handled by Apple or the payment provider chosen by the business. JunPOS retains only the transaction results needed for operations, reconciliation and statutory records.

This version of the JunPOS App does not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. If the business configures a Wi-Fi ticket printer, the App requests local network permission solely to connect to printers on the same store network.

4. Purposes and use

To the extent needed to provide services, perform contracts, act on your consent or comply with law, we use data to:

  • Create and protect accounts, verify identity, and manage sign-in and authorized devices.
  • Provide ordering, checkout, ticket printing, shifts, reports, customer management, reservations, waitlists and other store functions.
  • Verify App Store subscriptions, activate plans, restore purchases, manage renewal status and resolve billing disputes.
  • Integrate payment, e-invoice, messaging, delivery or other operational services selected by the business.
  • Provide data sync, backup, recovery, customer support and diagnostics.
  • Maintain service security, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate anomalies and retain necessary audit evidence.
  • Fulfill accounting, tax, consumer protection, personal data protection and other statutory obligations.

We process data electronically and through automated means, with manual handling by authorized personnel bound by confidentiality when necessary. We do not use data for purposes incompatible with those listed above. If new purposes are required, we will provide notice as required by law and obtain consent where necessary.

5. Local and cloud plans

  • Free local plan:No JunPOS account is required. After setup, the business name, manager name, phone number and optional email are uploaded for customer registration and support contact; if offline, they are uploaded after connection is restored. Contact details are kept in the platform customer list, without creating a separate cloud operational database for the free plan. Operational data, including menus, staff, orders and payments, stays in the current device's local database and does not include JunPOS cloud backup. Deleting the App, erasing the device, device loss or damage may make the data unrecoverable.
  • Paid cloud plan:After Apple sign-in, subscription verification and data checks are complete, authorized operational data is transferred to the business's dedicated tenant database for sync and recovery on authorized devices. Different businesses' operational data is isolated in separate databases.

JunPOS's main cloud services are currently hosted in Google Cloud's Taiwan region. To complete Apple sign-in, App Store subscriptions or integrations enabled by the business, some necessary data may be transferred to third-party systems in other countries or regions and be subject to local laws and third-party policies.

6. Third-party services and disclosure

We provide data to, or allow processing by, third parties only as necessary in the following circumstances:

  • Apple:To provide Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, subscription verification, renewal status, and refund or transaction support.
  • Cloud and technical providers:To provide hosting, databases, networking, security, monitoring, backup and other infrastructure.
  • Providers enabled by the business:For example, payment, e-invoice, LINE, delivery, online ordering or reservation providers.
  • Professional advisers and authorities:To comply with law, resolve disputes or protect users' or others' rights, necessary data may be provided to advisers under confidentiality obligations, courts or competent authorities.
  • Corporate transactions:In a merger, reorganization or asset transfer, necessary data is transferred only where permitted by applicable law and with continued protection.

We review and limit third-party access according to the service and require processors to use data only as instructed, with protection no less than that required by this policy and applicable law. Third parties providing services in their own name and determining their own processing must also comply with their privacy policies and applicable law.

We do not sell personal data, provide it to data brokers, or use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking to deliver personalized advertising.

7. Data retention, deletion and subscriptions

We retain data for as long as needed to provide services, for the account or contract duration, and as required by applicable law. Short-lived sign-in and device sessions become invalid upon expiry or revocation. Security, support and transaction records are retained as needed for disputes, abuse prevention, accounting, tax and other statutory obligations. When the purpose or retention period ends, we delete, anonymize or stop using the data, except where continued retention is required or permitted by law.

Signed-in users can request deletion in Account settings in the JunPOS App. The system unlinks the Apple sign-in identifier, revokes all account sessions, de-identifies sign-in data and disables the account. Orders, payments, invoices and audit records that must be retained by law or to handle existing transactions are separated from the deleted sign-in identity and retained as required.

Deleting a JunPOS account does not automatically cancel subscriptions managed by Apple. If a plan is still renewing automatically or a payment is being processed, first visit App Store subscription management to stop renewal, then return to the App to complete account deletion. Stopping renewal does not affect access during the paid period.

The free local plan does not create a JunPOS account. You can manage individual records in the App, or remove the App or erase the device to delete local data. Complete any required exports or retention beforehand. Contact details already uploaded to the platform are not automatically deleted when you remove the App. Request correction or deletion through the support channels below.

8. Your rights and choices

Under applicable law, you may request the following regarding personal data we hold:

  • Access, inspection or a copy.
  • Completion or correction of incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Cessation of collection, processing or use.
  • Deletion or withdrawal of consent-based processing.

We may verify your identity and request scope before handling the request under applicable law. If some transaction or statutory records cannot be deleted by law, we will explain why. You can also disable integrations enabled by the business or manage local network permission in device settings.

You may choose whether to provide optional data. If you do not provide data necessary for account creation, subscription verification, transactions or specific integrations, those features may be unavailable. You can still use JunPOS's free local features without creating an account.

9. Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures based on data risk, including HTTPS transmission, Keychain/Keystore secure storage, access controls, password or token hashing, encryption of necessary credentials, independent tenant databases, audit records, sensitive-data masking and least-privilege access.

No transmission or storage method can guarantee complete security. If a personal data incident requires notification by law, we will take containment and remedial steps and notify affected people and authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Children's privacy

JunPOS is a business operations service for businesses and authorized staff. It is not primarily directed at children, and we do not knowingly ask children to create business accounts. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without appropriate authorization, contact us through the channels below.

11. Policy updates and contact

We may update this policy as services, data practices or laws change and display the latest date on this page. If changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you through the App, service notices or other appropriate means.
